Filing Fees (Effective July 1, 2011): $155.00 • Civil Case, Miscellaneous Petitions, Name Change, Domestic Petitions to establish visitation, custody, child support, paternity or other issues requiring a new case filing, Infant Guardianship and Adoptions $110.00 • Adult conservatorship / guardianship $135.00 • Divorce and separate maintenance $ 85.00 • Modification of existing court orders such as child support, custody and visitation. $ 35.00 • Expedited petitions for child support * There is an additional fee for service with the above case filings. This fee is determined by the type of service and is subject to change by the Legislature. Copying Fees: $1.00 Regular Per Page $4.50 Triple Seal $1.50 Certified copy plus regular per page fee The Circuit Clerk's Office can provide forms for most Family Court Cases for a $10 fee or you may go to the West Virginia Supreme Court and obtain the forms for no fee.
